When Clutter Relief Services first began, it was just a small idea: to help people find more organization and calm in their homes. Over the years, that idea has evolved into something significant, a trusted service that has supported hundreds of families through decluttering, downsizing, and new beginnings.
But none of this would have been possible without you, our amazing clients, partners, team, and community. You’ve trusted us with your homes, your memories, and some of your most important life transitions. Your confidence, referrals, and ongoing support have helped Clutter Relief Services become what it is today, an award-winning business built on care, compassion, and purpose. I’m celebrating a big birthday this month, I’m turning 55! 🥳

As we head into the holiday season, this milestone is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. The holidays can be joyful, but often come with a little extra stress. Taking time to clear space, both physically and mentally, can make all the difference in how peaceful and present you feel.
5 Simple Ways to Prepare Your Home for the Holidays:
Here are a few of the things that keep me grounded, healthy, and happy:
- Start with the entryway. It’s the first thing guests see. Clear out coats, shoes, and bags to make room for winter gear or company.
- Declutter the kitchen counters. Holiday baking and meal prep are so much easier when your counters are clear and your tools are easy to reach.
- Tidy up guest spaces. Whether it’s a spare room or a pull-out sofa, a clutter-free space with fresh linens and a cozy touch goes a long way.
- Revisit your décor. Before unpacking every bin, choose the pieces that make you smile and let go of what no longer fits your style or space.
- Create a donation box now. Keep one handy for everyone to drop items they no longer use. By year’s end, you’ll have already started fresh for the new year!
Little by little, these small steps bring a sense of calm and readiness, so you can enjoy the season with less clutter and more joy.
Giving back is a big part of what we do!
This month, we donated a $480 gift basket and decluttering hours to the Wallet to Wealth Silent Auction in support of Halton Women’s Place.
Our October fundraiser also raised $300 for the Cancer Assistance Program. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community!
