Hi Friends,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🍂
This year, Dale and I celebrated a little differently, we enjoyed a mini getaway to the 2025 Stratford Festival, where we had so much fun watching Annie and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Between the shows and some delicious local meals, it was a refreshing reminder to slow down and savour life’s simple joys.
It’s moments like these that remind me how gratitude truly changes everything.
October feels like the perfect time to pause, reflect, and give thanks, not just for what we’ve overcome, but for the simple joys that fill our days.

🎗️ October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As many of you know, I’m a breast cancer survivor. I went through lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation, all during the challenges of COVID restrictions in 2020–2021. Today, I’m deeply grateful to say that I’m healthy and doing well.
That journey taught me to live with intention and balance, walking daily, eating well, and reducing stress wherever I can. It also strengthened my intuition and empathy, especially when working with clients. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that our homes hold energy and clutter often carries emotional weight. When we release it, we make room for peace, clarity, and new beginnings.
My 6 Everyday Wellness Habits:
Here are a few of the things that keep me grounded, healthy, and happy:
- Spending time in nature – breathing in fresh air and finding calm on every walk.
- Healthy eating – nourishing my body with foods that support energy and healing.
- Connection – surrounding myself with loved ones, laughter, and meaningful moments.
- Joy – making time for fun, because happiness is essential for wellness.
- Purpose – doing the work I love, helping others clear their spaces and their minds.
- Meditation and Affirmations – I use the Insight Timer App every night and most mornings to help ground me and lower any anxieties.
If you or someone you love is navigating a health challenge, I hope these gentle reminders bring encouragement and light.

And as always, if your organization or community group is looking for a guest speaker, I’d love to share tips on decluttering, downsizing, and reclaiming your space and your life. I frequently speak at senior residences, real estate offices, and community events, helping others find freedom and peace through organization and downsizing.
Does Your Group Need A Speaker?
This month, I’m highlighting Loyobo FIT, a virtual fitness community helping women ditch diet culture, find joy in movement, and finally learn to love their bodies.
Their body-positive approach to health and fitness perfectly aligns with our mission of creating balance and well-being, inside and out. I have been a member of this community since May 2021 and they have helped me learn to love myself and my body and to enjoy movement.
